Facilitating a smooth landing for immigrants to Greater Toronto Area

Smooth Landing is a Not For Profit Organization (NGO) whose main objective is to help black immigrants / newcomers to Canada have a “smooth landing” in Canada (particularly in the Region of Peel or Peel Region- regional municipality in Southern Ontario, Canada. It consists of three municipalities to the west and northwest of Toronto: the cities of Brampton and Mississauga, and the town of Caledon.

By “land smoothly” we mean : making sure that Newcomers to Canada are able to find a temporary or permanent place to stay, guide them on how to get the documents required to settle – during their first two weeks of landing.

This NGO was borne as a result of the founder — Mohammed’s landing experience – which wasn’t smooth — hence the name “Smooth Landings”
